involved extensively in searching for the meaning of life. She has
studied and meditated extensively in the fields of psychology,
sociology, Eastern and Western philosophy, metaphysics, and world
religion to support her findings about the core of morality and its
universal truth and to communicate that wisdom to others. The author
possesses the caliber of other great motivational speakers in our
time in delivering this very important message to the masses.
Upon reaching Enlightenment at age 32, the author has
come to realize that there are certain set meanings to the patterns of
events that happen to us in our lives. This is meant to teach us the
truth about our existence and the reality of our living. To know about
the truth of our sufferings and chaos in today's world is not
difficult. In fact, the information is embedded within all of us -- in
our subconscious minds. What might be difficult for some of us to learn
is how to find that information and how to readily accept it as it comes
to us. By mastering the practical wisdom in this book, readers are able
to begin to see their own Reality as It Is and to
internalize those discoveries. In a conscious state of mind, we will
realize that we have all the freedom and power to create what we are
here for -- our mission -- with the positive flow of current that we
are striving towards and not against. By realizing this very
concept, we are able to start to live our lives with more meaning,
purpose, and happiness. Thus, the ocean of wisdom is within all of us,
and awaits ever patiently for our discovery of it.
Dr. Liau believes
wisdom is universal – it tolerates neither prejudice nor
discrimination. It is revealed to everyone who is eager to know and who
is open and ready to receive it. Knowledge is only a tool and a vehicle
to wisdom, something we obtain to become more knowledgeable,
intelligent, and hopefully to become more wise, but it can never replace
wisdom itself since wisdom can only come from within and not from
without. True wisdom holds no preference – it can easily be obtained
without regard to one’s age, profession, work experience, educational
level or life-long experience. Again all of these other criteria can
serve as vehicles to communicate, but not to become enlightened.
Dr. Liau speaks with great eloquence and compassion equal to the popular
self-help speakers and life experts of our time such as Dr. Dyer, Dr.
Chopra, Dr. Phil, Dr. Laura, and Anthony Robbins. The author has an
exceptional ability to articulate her perspective and ideas clearly and
persuasively to empower readers to act upon the principles of moral
values each and every day – to be the controllers of their destinies.
Dr. Liau is a living example of the moral principles embodied in this
book and her intense enthusiasm and seriousness of purpose to make a
difference in this world make her a leader of our time.
